PROFILE

As a small boy, Gerry O'Neill developed a fascination with drawing that has remained with him as a professional illustrator. A Maryland native, Gerry received his art training from the Philadelphia College of Art, the Art Institute of Philadelphia, and the Maryland Institute of Art. Gerry got his start as a professional artist working in Washington, DC advertising agencies. Since 1988, he has worked as a freelance illustrator, versitile in both digital and traditional mediums. In addition to advertising and editorial illustration, marker comps and storyboards are also a specialty.
Currently a North Carolina resident, he has worked for a wide range of local and national clients.
He draws inspiration from the old masters as well as classic and contemporary American illustrators.
